Cohan plays the role of Greta Evans, a woman that has recently broken free of a physically abusive relationship. She has traveled all the way to England to take a job as a nanny in a remote village.Upon her arrival, Greta meets the owner of the local market, Malcolm (Rupert Evans). He delivers food to the house once a week and she asks if he has met the Heelshire's son, Brahms? Soon after, Ms. Heelshire takes her up to meet Brahms which turns out to be a life-sized doll but Greta plays along since the pay is generous.Ms. Heelshire gives Greta a list of rules that MUST be followed and they leave on a so called vacation leading to their suicide to leave Greta to Brahms. As unexplained events take place Greta’s worst nightmare comes to life, leading her to believe that the doll is actually alive.
