The story follows famed Apple founder Steve Jobs behind the scenes of the digital revolution, to paint a portrait of the man at its epicenter. The story unfolds backstage at three iconic product launches, ending in 1998 with the unveiling of the iMac. It also tell the man’s story. The first few minutes of the film is a behind the scenes at the roll out of the MAC computer. We meet Joanna Hoffman (Kate Winslet) his right hand. We also meet his daughter Lisa and her mother (Katherine Waterston) along with the major characters at Apple. The next few minutes is a behind the scenes at the roll out of the Cube, and again we get more character study of Steve (Michael Fassbender) and more flashbacks and how bad of a father he was. The rest of the film jumps to 1998 and the unveiling of the iMac. The film features a great cast including Michael Fassbender, Seth Rogen, Kate Winslet, and Jeff Daniels.
