SPECIAL EDITION BOND BLU-RAY & DVD RELEASES ARRIVE THIS SEPTEMBER

BOND COLLECTIBLES WITH NEW SPECIAL FEATURES RELEASED AHEAD OF UPCOMING 24th JAMES BOND ADVENTURE, SPECTRE

 
  Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios (MGM) and Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment are releasing special edition Blu-rays, DVDs and collectible box-sets on September 15^th, ahead of the November 6^th global release of SPECTRE, the 24th James Bond adventure.

Two new featurettes are included based on interviews with renowned Bond writers Neal Purvis and Robert Wade. “The Shadow of SPECTRE” concentrates on the history of SPECTRE, the fictional global criminal syndicate and terrorist organization. The second featurette, “The Story So Far”, recaps and relives the significant moments from the previous three Daniel Craig Bond films.

Limited Edition Blu-ray Steelbooks headline the new home entertainment offering for Bond fans. The collectible set includes six films featuring the SPECTRE organization (From Russia With Love, Thunderball, You Only Live Twice, On Her Majesty’s Secret Service, Diamonds Are Forever, For Your Eyes Only) and the three recent Daniel Craig titles (Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, Skyfall) each featuring packaging inspired by the films’ iconic opening title sequences.

The Ultimate James Bond Collection features all 23 iconic Bond films together in one Blu-ray box-set, which includes a 24^th space for SPECTRE and, for the first time, digital copies of the collection.  Also included is a new bonus disc exclusive featuring “Everything or Nothing”, a 90-minute documentary on the untold story of 007 and a pocket-sized James Bond 50 Years of Movie Posters book including the best posters from Dr No through to SPECTRE.  This collection will be exclusively available at Amazon.com.

Dedicated Actor Packs with new packaging will also be released on Blu-ray & DVD.

Fox 2000 Pictures and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures present POLTERGEIST, from legendary filmmaker Sam Raimi (“Spider-Man,” Evil Dead,” “The Grudge”) and director Gil Kenan (“Monster House”). It contemporizes the 1982 classic about a family whose suburban home is haunted by evil forces.  When terrifying apparitions escalate their attacks and hold the youngest daughter captive, the family must come together to rescue her before she disappears forever.

Kenan directs from a screenplay by Pulitzer Prize-winning writer David Lindsay-Abaire.  The film is produced by Raimi and Rob Tapert, p.g.a. (“Evil Dead”) via Ghost House Pictures, along with Roy Lee, p.g.a. (“The Departed”).  The film is executive produced by J.R. The Churchmen: Season 1  

In this intense hit drama The Churchmen (Ainsi soient-ils), five young candidates for the priesthood arrive at Paris' Capuchin Seminary to begin their training. On Tuesday, June 30, 2015, MHz Home Entertainment releases two new DVDs featuring top crime show programming from Sweden. Available this month are new episodes of two bestselling crime novels turned popular television series, Maria Wern, based on the titles by Swedish author Anna Jansson, and Annika Bengtzon Crime Reporter, from bestsellers by Liza Marklund.

Universal Studios' 'Fast & Furious' Ride Sneak Peak

We recently had the pleasure of attending an exclusive preview of the “Fast & Furious-Supercharged” at Universal Studios in Hollywood. As a fan of “Fast & Furious” we really enjoyed the ride. The new 3D-HD ride featured a number of new projection effects such as audio, lighting and special effects that included cast members Vin Diesel (Dom), Dwayne Johnson (Hobbs), Michelle Rodriguez (Letty), Tyrese Gibson (Roman) and Luke Evans (Owen Shaw).

The tram ride takes you through other attractions in the park which some are new additions or add-ons to the old ones before reaching the final destination the “Fast & Furious-Supercharged” building Sullivan Truck Repair. 

 

Once the tram enters the building which has two main rooms, the tram stops at the first building which features trucks and numerous tools and continues into the second room entering a dance party and featuring the cast members.

 Upon entering the second building you will need your 3-D glasses. And then the high-speed chase begins followed by some life-size replica race cars pulling up next to the tram featuring the cast in action. 

The Fast & Furious-Supercharged attraction uses a state-of-the-art 3D-HD projection technology along with the world’s longest and more expansive 360-degree screen that will span nearly 400 feet in length to surround guests by the Fast & Furious universe, using 18 4K projectors and a never-before-used front-projection system.

The 'Fast & Furious'- Supercharged will officially open to the public on June 24 and tickets are available at www.universalstudioshollywood.com
